What this website is

This site connects callers with independent septic contractors. It is not a septic contractor, does not perform or supervise work, and does not claim a contractor's license, insurance, equipment, availability, or workmanship as its own. No street address is published because the site does not represent a customer-facing Portland yard.

Calling, leaving voicemail, or submitting a form does not create an appointment or contract. The contractor that accepts an inquiry identifies itself and supplies its own availability, quote, scope, credentials, insurance information, contract, payment terms, warranties, and dispute process. Review those terms before work begins.

Information and regulatory limits

Content is general information believed accurate on July 15, 2026, not legal, engineering, environmental, real-estate, or health advice. Rules, forms, fees, utility boundaries, and municipal processes can change. Confirm material decisions with a licensed site evaluator, the municipal Local Plumbing Inspector, Maine CDC, Maine DEP, or another qualified professional.

Maine CDC writes the subsurface wastewater rule; municipal Local Plumbing Inspectors issue local permits and conduct required inspections. Maine DEP licenses septage conveyances. This website cannot approve a design, guarantee a permit, certify a system, or decide whether a property complies.

Primary source: Maine CDC Subsurface Wastewater Disposal Rule.

Calls and acceptable use

Calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality and follow-up, and the voicemail greeting provides notice before recording. Do not use the site to transmit unlawful, threatening, deceptive, infringing, or technically harmful material. Do not attempt to interfere with routing, forms, hosting, or telephone systems.

The website is provided as available without a guarantee that every page is complete, uninterrupted, or suitable for one decision. To the extent permitted by law, the site operator disclaims liability for reliance on general content and for the independent contractor's acts, omissions, pricing, property damage, delays, or disputes.

Outbound links and changes

Agency and source links are provided so readers can inspect primary material. External sites control their own content, availability, accessibility, and privacy practices. A link does not mean the agency endorses this website.

Pages and terms may be corrected, replaced, or removed. If a source attribution is wrong or a fact has changed, call (207) 962-2299. The image-credit table below identifies openly licensed market photographs and first-party illustrative assets.
